Artemisia pontica L.

Flora Europaea the original Linnean specimen perennial, H / Ch, 2n=18 xeric and mesoxeric steppe grassland species Continental Palearctic Festucion valesiacae, Agropyro-Kochion R34 xeric and mesoxeric habitats sporadically encountered in the steppes and forest-steppe areas outside the Carpathians while very frequent in Transylvania; probably sintopic with Artemisia austriaca and therefore replacing one another across vast regions                 A typical steppe species which seemingly is sintopic with Artemisia austriaca Jacq..
